Steps to Sign Up
1. It is free to be part of the MACs, but players need to pay for insurance via Foireann.
If you are unsure of the process reach out to your player rep. Rep contact details are here.
2. For insurance purposes all players need to register with NSW GAA. The registration will be available from 15th Jan 2024, with a new platform Foireann.ie. This registration is required to ensure all players are covered for insurance during club training & all matches. Everyone needs to be registered before playing their first competitive match. The fee is $164 AUD (€99).
2. Once you've registered head to one of the trainings!
3. You’ll be added to the WhatsApp group for your team where training updates, match selections and important news is regularly shared.

Club Transfers
1. Ladies football and camogie transfers are via paper form. Player reps, managers, and committee members can help any and all new members with this process.
2. Men’s football and hurling transfers are completed online via on Foireann.ie. If you're confused, pop your player rep a message.

When the club is ordering gear for the season members will be notified to place their orders. If you want to pick up some gear yourself you can grab it on the O'Neils website.

What is the cost to join?Being part of the MACs is free; but everyone playing competitive matches must register on Foireann.ie . All players must do this so they are covered for insurance purposes for both matches and trainings. The cost for this is $164 AUD (€99).

Where’s training?Training is on at the pitches at: Booralee Park, Bay St, Botany NSW 2019

When does the season start & finish?Currently the 2024 season is starting in February with championship finals expected mid July

What age groups do you have?Anyone over 16 can join up but there are no underage teams as of yet!

What level teams are there?We have everything from absolute beginners up to the highest levels in the ladies and mens teams.

Do you play football and hurling?Yes we do both at the MACs

Can foreign people join 😅Yes absolutely

How much are the social events & what are they?They range in price, obviously the 12 pubs is free just to pay for your own pints, the yacht socials are around 100 dollars (not bad for a private MACs boat), the olympic sports day (egg & spoon race, wheelbarrow race, putting competition, tug of war and more) are free to join. SO it varies but they don’t break the bank for the craic that’s involved!

How to buy tickets for the raffles?Follow us on our Instagram where we post about any raffles and fundraisers we're running. For the last few years as part of the Mac's 100 Club we gave away 50K worth of prizes. We've also given away holidays to FIJI and cash prizes as part of club fundraisers for the player fund.
